So...Gemini. I finally got his profile up, whee! About time...
In case you don't know, Gemini is one of my oldest (and well-known, at least fanfiction wise) characters. Now, read the bio!

BASICS:
Full Name: Project Gemini the Hedgehog; later adopts the name Gemini M. Darknic.
Nickname/s: Gem, Gemmy
Species: Hedgehog
Age: Time of creation unknown, mentally around 26, immortal

NATURE:
Personality:
At first glance, Gemini acts like a sort of college student, or stay-at-home geek. He usually spends time by himself, working on magic or playing video games, but he seems pretty normal otherwise. He’s a bit grumpy at times, and while he isn’t arrogant like the Decimation projects, he is quite prideful of his abilities. However, he is friendly enough, and EXTREMELY protective of those he cares about, especially his brother Ciel. While he may seem laid-back, he often has an underlying worry about his brother’s well-being.
It’s also notable that Gemini will do anything in order to help those he cares about. While these things may not be good, or may mess with his morals, he’ll do them in a heartbeat. Usually, this involves making sure Ciel is not killed for the stuff Paranoia does (see History).

Likes:
Video games, the dark, reading, his (current) girlfriend Karrie, Ciel, making outfits (when the mood strikes him), sugar cookies, Mountain Dew (pretty much the only thing he drinks).

Dislikes:
Physical exertion, bright lights, Paranoia, outer space (see HISTORY!!!), Chaos Energy
Relationships with Other Characters:
Gemini actually does have a girlfriend, a squirrel named Karrie. As for his siblings, aside from Ciel, he gets along okay with Shadow and Silhouette. He doesn’t usually keep in touch with the others, though he is friends with a girl called Sakura, and most of Karrie's pals.

ABILITIES:

Natural Abilities:
Gemini could have been quite powerful, but the price of his magic is his physical power. He does retain a high speed at the moment, making him faster than quite a few of the other siblings, but in actual strength…he is way below average.

Night Magic:
Gemini’s ability is Night Magic, or as it’s more commonly called, Dark Magic. He excels in using it to attack others and summon creatures, though he is quite versed in other uses for it (such as resurrection). As mentioned, however, this costs him his physical strength. However, he continues to use his powers, and has the potential to be one of the strongest Night Mages. He’s always looking up more information and spells, with varying degrees of success.

Weapon:
Gemini usually doesn’t use a weapon, because he doesn’t usually fight physically. The closest thing he has to a weapon is a jack-knife, though he uses it on more himself (for when a blood sacrifice is required for a spell) than other people.

Weaknesses:
If Gemini is unable to use magic, and/or is stuck in a physical battle, his only hope of winning is to run away as fast as he can. He’s also pretty fragile in terms of physical strength, and after awhile, he starts to go numb from his powers, starting at his fingers. (That’s technically called leprosy…and while I don’t know if leprosy has a cure or not, Gemini’s condition is irreversible at this point.)
If it wasn’t obvious, being a Night Mage makes Gemmy vulnerable to Daylight (aka…Light) Magic. His eyes are also sensitive to light, hence the sunglasses.
Also, due to an incident on the Ark, Gemini has a strong allergic reaction to Chaos Energy. Any contact with it does extra damage, even if he’s the one using it (like with Chaos Emeralds). The most he can handle are a few short Chaos Controls from Shadow.

HISTORY:
Gemini was the last project of the Inner Power Line, and actually, the last project that wasn’t from the Dead Line. The only project his age was Ciel, and they were practically inseparable.

Unfortunately, another project caused a great illness to wreak havoc on the Ark. Ciel, having a defective immune system, died shortly after. Completely heartbroken from this, Gemini turned to focusing on his powers, often getting secret lessons from Baron, the specimen who gave his DNA to the Projects (as well as being a Night Magician himself). This wasn’t noticeable, except for the fact that his physical scores kept decreasing in the Ark tests.

Things went sour when, for unknown reasons, Gemini went on a rampage from an excess amount of dark energy in his body. In this powerful but vulnerable state, he was defeated by Project Shadow, who just discovered his Chaos Powers (which is also where Gemini gets his allergy from).

Immediately, Gemini was put into stasis, as well as the remaining Shadow Siblings, and Shadow’s memory was “fixed.” The Ark Invasion soon occurred, and all the siblings were sent off the space colony…but somehow, Gemini woke up in the middle, finding himself cold and alone in space until he crashed violently into the planet, and went back into stasis.

After an unknown amount of time, Gemini was found and released by two other projects, Oxion and Ferric. Instead of joining them, he left to Station Square to live alone, and work on his magic more. During the Black Arm Invasion, Gemini managed to resurrect Ciel, but accidentally screwed up the process, and created Paranoia in the process.

Recently, Shadow has come to live with Gemini and Ciel after Gemini tried to destroy Shadow in revenge for being put into stasis. They currently share an apartment in Station Square, where Gemini’s time is split between finding a way to fix Ciel, playing video games, hanging with his equally geeky girlfriend, or dealing with random escapades with his brothers.
